Adrian Gonzalez sports Rooly Eyewear at the All-Star Game HR Derby.
After a long day of travel he hits two home runs in the derby.
"I'm not sure this is something that you really want to do, but it's certainly going to be cool to do it." Asked if he was willing to make any predictions, Gonzalez said: "Of course not."
After having his flight delayed for mechanical reasons in Las Vegas which made it impossible to catch the connection in Indianapolis, Adrian rented a car with a fellow teammate Heath Bell and drove to St. Louis Missouri for the game. Unfortunately this took the steam out of Adrian who could only hit 2 homeruns in the HR Derby, much respect goes out to Adrian for even making it there.

After winning the Indoor 60m hurdles championship with a meet record and just missing the American record, Terrence wanted to make the year complete with another USATF Outdoor Championship.

JOSH COX- American 50k Record Holder |
|
Josh was eager to break the World 50k record, but came up a little short. "Today wasn't my day," he said. "Some days you feel you can run through a wall. It's tough when you're not meeting your goals. My legs were strong, but not keeping down the fluids made it tough.
"But even though it was an off day, I still got the American record."
Afterward, Cox, who was wearing single No. 50, was hugged and kissed by his wife Carrie. Appropriately, she then gave him a can of Michelob Ultra, and he poured it over his head.
"I'm capable of running under 2:40," he said confidently. However, there aren't too many chances for him to take another crack at the 50K distance because there are so few ultra-type races in the world.
"I love the ultra distance, though," Cox said.
